Career Excursion
4/11/25 - As the semester wrapped up at Eastern Michigan University, I had the chance to explore career paths through an incredible excursion to LinkedIn Detroit, Rocket Companies, and the FBI Detroit field office.
At LinkedIn, we toured their beautiful office and participated in a workshop on building a strong personal brand—something I’m excited to apply.
Rocket Companies gave us a warm welcome with a panel and tour that highlighted their role in Detroit’s growth and innovation.
Visiting the FBI was unforgettable. Hearing from professionals across departments gave me a new perspective on their work and mission.
Thank you to Temii Tellis, and everyone who shared their time and experiences with us. I’m feeling inspired and motivated heading into the summer!

Rocket Arena Tour
4/6/25 - I had the incredible opportunity to tour Rocket Arena in Cleveland and attend a Cavaliers game live. As someone passionate about sports marketing and management, this experience provided a unique behind-the-scenes look at the arena’s operations, the strategies that drive fan engagement, and how a major sports organization like the Cavs connects with its audience.
I was fortunate to learn from an amazing group of panelists, including Len Komoroski, Christopher Kaiser, Alyson Ambrookian, Jalen Lee, and Kyle Kaminski, who shared their valuable insights into the world of sports marketing, business, and career development. Their perspectives were both motivating and informative, and I’m grateful for the connections I made.
While the Cavs didn’t secure a win that night, the game was a thrilling reminder of the energy and passion that sports bring to fans. It was a fantastic experience that deepened my enthusiasm for the sports industry.

3/28/25 - Work culture is such an interesting and evolving conversation in today’s job market. Visiting Google and experiencing firsthand their incredible office spaces and employee perks highlighted how intentional they are about fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation. From the thoughtfully designed workspaces to the emphasis on work-life balance, it’s clear why Google remains a leader in creating an environment where employees thrive.
A huge thank you to the employees for taking the time to host us! Hearing about their college journeys, post-grad experiences, and career paths was so inspiring. Their willingness to answer all our questions and offer such valuable insights was truly appreciated.
